Terms & Conditions

What you agree to when you walk through this door.

What Drishti is.

Drishti is a reflection companion powered by AI. It provides a space for personal contemplation, self-inquiry, and emotional articulation. Mitra, the AI within Drishti, draws on contemplative traditions — yoga, pranayama, meditation — to offer practices and presence.

Drishti is not a medical service. It is not a mental health treatment. It is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, psychiatry, or any professional mental health care. By using Drishti, you acknowledge this distinction clearly.

Acceptance of terms.

By creating an account or using any part of the Drishti service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Drishti. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. When we do, we will notify you and update the date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.

Your responsibilities.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to use Drishti to harass, harm, or deceive others. You agree not to use the service to generate content that is illegal, abusive, or designed to circumvent the safety features of the AI.

You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from Drishti. You agree not to use automated systems to access the service at scale.

You understand that what you share with Mitra is sincere, and that manipulating the AI's responses through deceptive inputs may affect the quality of the reflection you receive.

Mental health and crisis.

Mitra is designed to notice when a conversation approaches crisis and will offer appropriate resources. However, Mitra is not a crisis service and cannot guarantee the detection of every emergency.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (India: 112, International: local emergency number). If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact iCall (9152987821), AASRA (91-9820466726), or your local crisis service.

Drishti is not liable for the outcomes of any mental health situation. By using this service, you agree that it is a supplementary reflective tool, not a safety net, and that you take responsibility for seeking professional help when needed.

Subscriptions and billing.

Drishti offers a free tier and three paid tiers: Seeker, Sadhak, and Yogi. Pricing is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your choice at signup. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month. Annual subscriptions renew annually.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without refund at our discretion.

Intellectual property.

The Drishti platform, interface, design, and underlying software are owned by Drishti and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The content of your conversations with Mitra belongs to you. You retain full ownership of what you share. We do not claim any rights over your words or the insights you arrive at through use of the service.

The system prompt, the voice, and the personality of Mitra are proprietary to Drishti. You may not reproduce or redistribute them.

Limitation of liability.

Drishti is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drishti's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. This includes but is not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or mental health outcomes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability clauses; in those jurisdictions, this limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing law and disputes.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of Drishti shall first be addressed through direct communication with us. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, under the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If you are outside India, you agree that Indian law governs this agreement.
